Continuous publication

As from Volume 12, in 2020, the Revista Argentina de Salud Pública switched from the quarterly publication model to the continuous publication model, thus, the articles are not part of an issue and are continuously published once they are approved and edited.

The adoption of this model falls within the framework of the boom of the Open Science paradigm, since one of its main lines includes scientific publications and the need of both authors and the scientific community to reduce the time to publication and to have access to scientific knowledge. It is worth mentioning that the COVID-19 pandemic was the main catalyst for its implementation in the COVID-19 Supplement, which started to be edited together with the RASP since July 2020 and was published until December 2022.
