Copyright and Creative Commons Licenses
Updated: 04/12/2022
The Revista Argentina de Salud Pública (RASP) adopts the Creative Commons Attribution License (CCAL) system for all the works to be published. According to these licenses, the authors retain the copyright of their work, but authorize others to copy, distribute, create derivate work from the original work provided that the authorship of the work is attributed as specified by the author or licensor of the work. However, the RASP recommends the authors to register their works in order to safeguard the intellectual property in case of potential improper use or misuse.
Therefore, those submitting scientific articles for publication in the RASP give their consent to the following conditions:
- According to this model, all the work published in the RASPbecomes available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International, meaning that the authors retain their copyrights and readers can share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (combine, transform and create based on the material) it provided the authorship of the work and the primary source of publication are acknowledged, supplying a link to the license and indicating if changes have been made. Readers cannot use the material for commercial purposes. If derivate works are created, they should be distributed under the same license as the original.
- The authors retain Copyright and guarantee to the RASP the unpublished and original character of the material for publication.
- Authors assign the publication rights of their manuscript to RASP on a non-exclusive basis, for which the journal reserves the right to publish it in electronic format. However, authors are entitled to enter separately into additional agreements with third parties for the non-exclusive publication of the version of the work published in the journal (e.g. placing it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), provided that the original source of publication, e.g. RASP, is appropriately mentioned.
4. Submitting an article to the RASP implies accepting the above-mentioned terms and conditions.
